What is CBT
Cognitive behavioural Therapy
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave.
Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy can help you with so much, from increasing relaxation and reducing stress, to increasing your confidence and reducing your anxiety. Together with Psychotherapy and your therapist you can achieve positive & lasting results.
By using Hypnotherapy and CBT together can be an extremely powerful combination and research shows that efficacy is improved by using CBT or hypnotherapy on its own, I am trained in use both techniques.
Therapy is more than just a quick fix. It's about giving you the tools to live a healthier, and happier life. When you come in, we'll talk about what is concerning you and then we create a plan and a formulation together

What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a state of very deep relaxation that is extremely powerful. Hypnotherapy may be used on its own, as simple relaxation therapy, or it may be integrated with any of the great schools of psychological thought. This integrative approach of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy has very wide therapeutic applications.
If only simple relaxation therapy is required, then someone with a basic hypnotherapy training should be able to help.
However, more complex emotional, psychological or physical problems require the help of a fully qualified Hypno-psychotherapist who will have the skills to recognise and treat a wide range of disorders and conditions.
At the beginnings of any therapy a full assessment is completed, and following this options can be discussed as to the best way forward for you.
By using hypnosis and by teaching you to do self-hypnosis, you will have the skills after your therapy has ended
